Q. How long do repairs typically take?
A. Visit us at a Myikliniq store. Our professionally trained technicians will immediately diagnose your device and provide a quote for repair (in the case of water damage, the diagnosis may take longer). In most cases, we can repair your device in less than 60 minutes.
Q. What is your repair warranty?
A. We offer an industry-leading lifetime parts and labour guarantee on all of our repairs.
Q. Do I have to make an appointment for repairs?
A. You don’t need to make an appointment to get your mobile phone repaired as accidents can happen at any time. But to ensure that our technicians can repair your smartphone in the quickest possible time, please contact us so we can check that the required parts are in stock. The price quoted for a repair is valid for one month.
Q. Do you sell Smartphones?
A. We offer a great selection of Certified Pre-Owned devices that have been expertly refurbished by Myikliniq technicians and come with a warranty. Ask in store for details.
Q. Do you buy my used phone?
A. Yes, the expert technicians at Myikliniq will assess and evaluate your used phone for cash, on site. It’s a convenient and safe way to make cash or credit from a smartphone you no longer want. Visit our website for more details.
Q. Is the quote free of charge?
A. Yes, and there’s no obligation. If your smartphone has broken down or the screen has been cracked or damaged, if your device has liquid damage or your home button or charging port is faulty, we can help. Once our technicians have made a diagnosis, they will give you an estimate for repair. In the event we cannot repair your smartphone, there will be no charge.
Q. Can you help me back up my data before repairing it?
A. Yes, we can create a secure back-up of your data, which we then reload back on to your device once the repair is complete.
Q. What payment methods do you take?
A. We take all major bank, debit and credit cards, we accept cash, too.

Q. Do you repair iPods or any other Apple products?

Q. Do you need my SIM Card?
A. Nope. We have our own SIM cards to test the phone with, no need to send yours.
Q. Do you need my pass code?
A. Yes we do. If there is a pass code on the phone it hinders our ability to test all the functions of the device. Please provide your pass code with the device when you send it in for repair. If you do not wish to provide your pass code, certain device functions including but not limited to; the camera, wifi and bluetooth cannot be tested and cannot be guaranteed
Q. What should I do if my device falls in water or another liquid?
A. First and foremost, do not attempt to turn the phone on as that can cause a serious short circuit. Next send the device in for our water damaged service. Our chance at repairing the phone increases substantially the sooner we receive it.
Q. How Long does water damage repair generally take?
A. Water damage repair generally takes between 24 and 72 hours to complete depending on the level of damage. This estimate can vary however depending on the extent of the damage to the logic board and other components.
Q. After dropping my phone it has become unresponsive to touch, does the glass repair fix this issue?
A. Yes, any non-responsiveness your phone is suffering due to a drop will be corrected with the Glass & Digitizer repair, as the Digitizer that is being replaced is the part responsible for all touch functionality.
Q. How do I know if I need the LCD repair or not?
A. If the actual screen of the phone is bleeding, white, or has any dead pixels then you’re going to need to select the LCD & Glass option as the LCD has suffered irreversible damage. Still not sure?
